DIAGNOSTIC SCREENS

The first step to preventive health care is to identify early warning signs of potential disease. Diagnostic Screens are a key part of that identification.  Our program offers a variety of screening options that can help identify early warning signs of heart disease, diabetes, liver abnormalities, nutritional disorders, kidney disease, thyroid disease, anemia and cancer. For a complete list of available tests, click here.

TUBERCULOSIS SCREENING & DRUG TESTING

Tuberculosis (TB) Screening provides documentation of prospective and active cases of tuberculosis.  TB testing is available at our office, by appointment or can be scheduled off site.

Drug Testing provides assurance that an employee can safely perform job responsibilities.  VNCC uses a one-step qualitative screening administered by a registered nurse for detection of narcotics. Results are available in seven minutes.

PNEUMOCOCCAL PNEUMONIA VACCINE (PNEUMONIA SHOT)
This pneumonia shot is available during our flu program, or throughout the year at our office.

MENINGOCOCCAL VACCINE (MENINGITIS SHOT)
Meningitis shots are conveniently offered at our office throughout the year, with a focus on college-bound students in the summer and fall.

ZOSTAVAX VACCINE (SHINGLES SHOT)
A single dose of the Shingles shot is indicated for adults 60 and older. If you’ve had chickenpox or received the chickenpox vaccine, you’re at risk for Shingles. The risk increases as you get older. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call the KVNA office at 262-656-8400. A registered nurse will take a brief health history to ensure safe vaccination.
