Skilled Nursing. Under the direction of the patient’s physician, our registered nurses provide
one-on-one compassionate care and teaching in the patient’s home.  Our skilled nursing services include, but are not limited to:

  • Pain / symptom management

  • Post-operative Care

  • Foley Catheter Care
  • Colostomy Care
  • Medication Injections
  • IV Antibiotics

Specialized Programs. Kenosha VNA’s innovative programs provide patients with additional, structured care in the following areas:

Who is eligible for home care? People of all ages can benefit from care in their home. To be eligible for services, patients must meet three basic criteria:

  • Under a doctor’s plan of care
  • In need of a reasonable and necessary skilled care or therapy
  • Ability to leave home is restricted by illness or injury

 

Getting Started with Kenosha VNA.  Our friendly intake staff can get home care services started quickly with the following information:

  • Patient name, address and phone
  • Patient’s payer source (Medicare, Medicaid, Insurance type)
  • Skilled need (nurse, PT, OT, ST) and expected frequency
  • Patient’s primary caregiver in home
  • Any pertinent diagnosis
